Figuring out WHAT to eat during pregnancy can be a BIG challenge. There is so much conflicting information when it comes to what you should and shouldn’t eat during pregnancy.

Should you eat

whole grains? Is it okay to eat sushi? How much should you eat?


know I was super confused the first time (or 2) as to what to eat during pregnancy. I thought I was eating a healthy diet, but it wasn’t until I started suffering from severe acne and eczema that I realized I had a problem.

With the encouragement of my midwife, I began to change my diet during pregnancy. I eliminated gluten and started eating more nutrient-dense foods. Read more about the diet mistakes I first made (and how to avoid them) here!

The thing is, it’s not so much about the foods you should avoid, but what foods you should add to your diet during pregnancy.

There’s an amazing book called Real Food for Pregnancy that really breaks down what’s BEST to eat during pregnancy.
