At Christmas, we always have extra oranges and clementines, so we put the goose on top of some. (Usually older ones slightly damaged.) This adds some color, but also lifts it off the plate.
Another idea is to serve the goose on freshly cut Christmas tree branches. Of course, don’t eat pine needles from the Christmas tree. This is just for show.
