SLOW COOKER BUTTER CHICKEN

Despite the richness of the sauce,
this is a very easy recipe where the slow cooker does almost all the work. You can even prepare the base of the sauce ahead of time and freeze it so you always have it handy!
Murgh Makhani Ingredients
This easy chicken curry doesn’t require a ton of ingredients, Apart from some spices they add so much flavor to the rich sauce.
- Chicken thighs or chicken breasts (skinless). Chicken thighs are more tender and suitable for this recipe.
- Onion and garlic
- Diced tomatoes in their juice
- Tomato paste (you can skip it if you prefer)
- Spices: garam masala, smoked paprika, cayenne, turmeric, cumin
- Lots of butter to enrich the sauce or coconut oil for a dairy-free version Whole coconut cream or milk for a dairy-free version
Fresh ginger or
paste for convenience
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN CURRY WITH BUTTER Full

STEP 1 Cut chicken thighs into cubes removing any large pieces of fat. Put all the ingredients of the sauce in a food processor and mix until you get a smooth paste.
STEP 2 Add the pasta to your slow cooker and mix the diced chicken. Cover and cook in HIGH for 3 hours or in LOW for 5 hours.
