One of the things I missed most about the Midwest was thunderstorms. Obviously, it rained in Seattle, but thunderstorms were few and far between. ☔
Liiike every time he broke in, it was great news the next day at work. That said, I never felt like we had those cold, rainy spring days when you wanted to curl up with a blanket and watch movies all day while listening to thunder rumble in the background. 😂
Now that we’re back in the Midwest in the spring, I am eagerly awaiting all the storms.
Mainly, because that means I can curl up with a bowl of these Slow Cooker ramen noodles and watch movies with Trevor and Teddy. Spring
storm perfection, right?
These slow-cooking Ramen noodles are incredibly easy to make, ridiculously tasty, and generally not bad when it comes to being a healthy food!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait until the next storm hits, and this time, I’m sure I’ll be prepared with these Slow Cooker Ramen noodles.
Can I be real with you for a second? While I’m completely, absolutely, absolutely in love with Mexican food and Cinco de Mayo . . . we actually celebrated it on May 4th, so on May 5th, we were eating these slow cooker Ramen noodles. 🙈
While Mexican food may be my all-time favorite for now, Asian-inspired foods are slowly making their way to the top.
Crockpot Thai Chicken Curry? Give me.
Roasted red chili tilapia? I want it all.
Mongolian beef easy? Oh, hell, yes!
Now, we have Slow Cooker Ramen noodles. Also, can we talk about how I always put some kind of egg in half of the Asian recipes on SMTY? Mmm Thai Peanut Noodles Hellooooo, One Pot Asian Noodle Soup and Easy Asian Noodles. 😂 There’s something about Asian flavors with an ooey egg yolk that speaks to me.
These ramen noodles are no exception and let me tell you that I have three main reasons why I take this recipe seriously ♡.
#1: My crockpot is involved. ‘Nough said.
#2: Asian flavors. Liiiike I’m a little obsessed.
#3: SO. MEND. EASY. Yet so ridiculously full of flavor.
I
want to hear the easy, because I’m ready to tell you all about it…
What kind of seasonings do you put in ramen noodles?
You’d be surprised if a flavor bomb recipe has very simple seasonings: just ground ginger and black pepper!
What are the ingredients of chicken ramen noodles?
In addition to ginger and black pepper, the ingredients are:
Chicken
- breasts
- Yellow onion
- Garlic
- Chicken broth
- Soy sauce
- Seasoned rice vinegar
- Unsweetened soy milk

- noodles
What kind of

How are the best ramen noodles made?
It’s MUCH easier than you think and while this may not be the most “traditional” thing, 😉 I promise you, these are the best!
Place all ingredients (except noodles) in your slow cooker and cook for about 3 hours. Throw away the noodles for 5 minutes, and wham bam thank you ma’am, that’s it!
That’s all! Super simple, but I’m telling you, full of flavor.
It’s salty from soy, a little spicy from vinegar, plus you can’t go wrong with a little ginger and black pepper. It’s full of tender chicken and noodles and I tell you you MUST get through this with #allthetoppings.
My favorites are thinly sliced jalapeño, a smooth liquid hard-boiled egg, cilantro, and green onions.
GAH!! Just go and make these Slow Cooker Ramen noodles as soon as possible! – JenniferWant to see more Asian recipes on the blog? Show me the delicious one! 🙂
